(Craig y Orllwyn) 3 Pine Trees
Built on the south facing slopes of Craig Orllwyn along an old mediaeval road which may have been a pilgrim’s route to Pennant Melangell, but was in fact a drovers track. The sign for accommodation for men and animals along the track was 3 pine trees. So this old cottage was a refuge for the drovers and their stock.
