During the past 20 years I have exhibited in numerous selected and group shows in North and Mid Wales and the North West of England. I have also had solo exhibitions in Clwyd Theatr Cymru in Mold, The Grosvenor Museum in Chester, The Manor Haus and The Library in Ruthin as well as The Arts Centre and Memorial Gallery in Wrexham. My work has also been on display in The Royal College of Art and The Bankside Gallery in London and The Artist Magazine. Recently I have also held solo exhibitions of my work in The Artists' Club and Medical Institution of Liverpool.
I am an active member of the Borderland Visual Arts and have taken part in the Open Studios for over 8 years, However this June I shall not be opening my studio to the public as part of their OS because I have been unable to do much creative work for the past few months due to getting remarried and my new husband moving into Pen-y-Bryn with me.
I am booked to have a solo exhibition in Denbigh Library next year and will soon recommence working for that. It will concern Owain Glyn Dwr and his settlement of Sycharth in 1400. I am producing etchings and paintings relating to the historical aspects of the landscape and domestic life.
Information about The BVA events can be viewed on the Borderland Visual Art web page connected to this site. |
